Validity of County Period Cards 

If you commute within the counties of Sörmland, Västmanland, Örebro, Östergötland, or Uppsala, the respective local transit commuter cards apply. Therefore, Movingo is not sold for routes that are entirely within one of these counties.

Movingo is not valid as a "länskort" on regional trains 

In the counties of Sörmland, Västmanland and Örebro, the respective local transport authority's county card is valid not only for its own local transport services but also for certain train services operated by other operators.  Movingo cannot be used as a "länskort" on this train service. This means that Movingo is not valid on Tågab, Västtrafik or Värmlandstrafik. 

Movingo Stockholm-Knivsta – No local validity on Mälartåg between Knivsta and Uppsala

Movingo is valid for travel on regional trains/Mälartåg between Stockholm, Märsta, Arlanda, and Knivsta. However, Mälartåg’s regional train route between Knivsta and Uppsala is not included in the local validity.
Movingo does, however, include local transportation in Knivsta, meaning you can travel with UL buses and SL commuter trains. Local validity also applies to trains on the Uppsala-Sala and Uppsala-Gävle routes.

Movingo Uppsala-Knivsta-Arlanda/Märsta – UL validity only

You can purchase a Movingo ticket for the Uppsala-Knivsta-Arlanda/Märsta route. This ticket includes UL validity but does not include SL validity. If you wish to continue traveling within the SL network, you will need to purchase an additional ticket.

Movingo is not valid on all SJ trains 

Movingo is valid on what is commonly known as "regionaltåg", SJ Regional. This means that Movingo is not valid on X 2000, SJ's other fast trains or night trains.

Boarding and disembarkation restrictions at Sundbyberg

At Sundbyberg station, you are not allowed to board SJ's regional train heading towards Stockholm. You are not allowed to disembark at Sundbyberg if you are traveling from Stockholm.

When you specify your desired destination and origin when purchasing a Movingo ticket, these restrictions for Sundbyberg station will limit the search results.

However, you are, of course, allowed to disembark at Sundbyberg when traveling towards Stockholm and board the train coming from Stockholm.
