There are two wheelchair spaces on board our flex carriage. Mälartåg are adapted to accessibility in that more than 10% of the seats offer a slightly larger space to move around. These seats are evenly distributed between the carriages and are located on both the lower and middle floors.
You can find these seats using a decal on the wall that clearly indicates their location. If you require a priority seat, you always have the right to these spaces. All entrance doors are level with the platform, and the trains meet the latest accessibility requirements.
If you have a disability and need help getting to and from the train or when changing trains, you can request assistance.
Assistance is available at many stations and comes at no extra cost. However, it is important that you do not bring more or heavier luggage than you can easily carry on board by yourself. Learn more about assistance at Stationsledsagning.se.
Are you traveling with a guide dog? More information is found under the section Pets on this page.
